Topic 3: Advocate
Hands-on help is important and necessary. But sometimes, the biggest difference can be made by sharing your voice and helping others share their voices.
Do you see injustice? Fight against it. Join a community organization! Start your own. Bring awareness through your social media following. Raise funds and support justice.
Is there a bill heading toward the ballot this fall that will positively affect you or someone you love? Start a letter writing campaign. Visit your local members of Congress. Join a group of advocates.
Your voice matters, and the public will only understand what’s at stake if it‘s presented to them. So be a voice for your community and serve them the best you can.
